Tulsa police charge suspect in shooting that killed one, injured three near 27th and Harvard

TULSA, Okla. — One person is dead and three are injured after a shooting in midtown Tulsa Wednesday night.

Thursday afternoon, the Tulsa Police Department identified the suspect in the shooting.

Officers say the suspect Billy Bills has turned himself into police custody.

Bills is charged with first degree murder, use of a vehicle in discharge of a weapon, three counts assault and battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm.

Tulsa police said a fight broke out around 7:30 p.m. near 27th and Harvard that led to a suspect shooting four people. Police said the shooting was not random, and the parties involved all knew each other.

25-year-old Mykai Daniels died from his wounds. Two other victims are in critical condition but are expected to survive. One of the victims might be paralyzed from the shooting, TPD said.
