TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE: Family identifies the victim from last night's homicide at the Avondale Apartments near South Trenton Avenue and East 71st Street.
The family identified the victim as 30-year-old Princeton Porter.

Tulsa police are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex in south Tulsa.
Investigators say they discovered a deceased male inside Avondale Apartments near South Trenton Avenue and East 71st Street.
Officers were dispatched to the area around 9:30 Monday night for a welfare check.
When they arrived, they found a man dead inside his apartment.
Police say it appears he is also the victim of a robbery, but that it's still very early on in the investigation.
"We're going to have to figure where his next of kin is. We're going to have to talk to them," said Sergeant Brandon Watkins. "We're bringing people downtown and talking to them who might possibly have information."
Police have not released how or when he was killed.
Detectives tell us they are following leads to figure out what happened.
