TULSA -- Two students at Edison Preparatory School are being accused of harassing a custodian at the school.
Tulsa Public Schools officials said two students stayed in the building after hours and harassed the night custodian.
Early Tuesday morning, Tulsa police reported that two teenagers broke into Edison Middle School. One of the teens was taken to jail.
Police arrived to the school after the two were spotted on security cameras walking inside the school. Officers caught one of the children as he was walking out of the building.
The Tulsa Police Department took a statement from the custodian.
TPS released the following statement:
"This is an ongoing Tulsa Police Department investigation, and Tulsa Public Schools will provide any information or assistance needed. In addition to supporting TPD fully, we are also reviewing all of our security practices to ensure that our schools and buildings are safe spaces for our teachers, students, staff, families, and community members."
