TULSA – Homicide detectives are investigating after a student discovered a body near Booker T. Washington Tuesday morning.

Detectives say 26-year-old Anthony Reed was the victim in Tulsa's second murder of the year. The Medical Examiner's Office says Reed suffered from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Chris Payne with Tulsa Public Schools says the body was located around 9 a.m. near 1514 E. Zion.

Tulsa Public Schools campus police say the victim was on Towne Square apartment property. Reed was discovered at the fence that separates the apartments from Booker T. Washington High School.

So far, detectives believe that Reed may have gotten into an altercation with at least two unknown suspects in the southwest corner of Towne Square. They say Reed was wet and could have been left in the rain storm overnight.
