Tulsa's Bill Hader wins Emmy for "Lead Actor in a Comedy Series"

TULSA — Tulsa native Bill Hader took home the Emmy Award for "Best Actor in a Comedy" for the second year in a row.

His HBO series "Barry" was nominated for 17 awards in its second season.

Hader was also nominated for Best Comedy Writing and Directing.

Meanwhile, the other big winners were "Game of Thrones," capping its run with its fourth Emmy for Best Drama Series.

Billy Porter won Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in "Pose."

A show that a lot of people had never heard of was one of the big winners in the comedy categories, Amazon's "Fleabag" took home the prize for Best Comedy, in what many call a big upset.

Fleabag's star Phoebe Waller-Bridge had already picked up honors for Writing and Best Actress.
