STROUD, Okla. — OSBI says the person of interest named in the Stroud double homicide is in custody.

Officials say the double homicide occurred in the 500 block of West 10th Street.

Police say Pauletta Pittman, 63, and her husband Mark Pittman, 65, were found deceased inside the home this morning.

A co-worker of Pauletta's called police at around 9:30 a.m. after Pauletta didn't show up to work this morning, officials say.

Police say the person of interest in the case is Shawn Patrick Pittman, 39.

Investigators say at around 5 p.m., they received a call that a Sienna mini-van matching the description of the one owned by Pauletta was getting gas at a station in Stroud.

A second call reported that the mini-van had left the gas station, investigators say.

Investigators say Stroud Police Department was able to locate the vehicle diving westbound on 4th Street and pulled it over.

Shawn Pittman was driving the mini-van and was taken into custody, investigators say.

Investigators say Shawn is facing DUI charges and is currently being held at the jail in Stroud.
