TULSA, Okla. — Union Public Schools announced students at Boevers Elementary and those in grades 6-12 will move to distance learning beginning Nov. 12.
District officials said students will return to school after Thanksgiving on Monday, Nov. 30. This comes due to a shortage of substitute teachers and a lack of bus drivers, according to the district.
In-person students in grades pre-K – 5, with the exception of Boevers, will remain at school unless further action is deemed necessary, the district said. Officials said a plan for pick-up meal service will be announced Wednesday, Nov. 11.
