Upcoming holiday concert at Will Rogers auditorium is featuring 1939 piano played by Leon Russell

TULSA, Okla. — The upcoming Holiday Piano Concert with Don Irwin will feature the historic 1939 piano played by Leon Russell.

Irwin, a renowned Steinway artist, will be "bringing holiday favorites to life" next to the Will Rogers Junior and Senior High School Choir and Instrumentalists.

The concert pianist is also a composer and recording artist who has recorded with famous singers, such as Prince and Donna Summer.

He is a 1977 graduate of Tulsa's Nathan Hale High School.

The concert is taking place in the Will Rogers auditorium on Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person, and there are still seats available. You can find information here.

The money will benefit the Will Rogers High School Communnity Foundation to continue supporting educational opportunities for students.

The foundation has donated more than $500,000 toward academics, the arts, sports and activities and faculty support.
