TULSA -- A teen was transported to the hospital in critical condition after a shooting in near East Central High School Monday evening.
Police say the 15-year-old was behind the wheel of his truck on 11th Street just before 5 Monday evening when he was hit by a single shot in the torso.
Police don't believe the shooting was a case of road rage, or that the teen was a target of any kind.
The teen was seen talking to police just before being rushed to the hospital. Police say they aren't sure whether the teen is a student at East Central High School, but they say he is expected to be okay.
Police say they're now searching for the shooter and a possible motive.
