TULSA, Okla. — Organizers announced Monday the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show scheduled for this weekend is canceled due to an increase in COVID-19 cases across Oklahoma.

In a Facebook post, organizers said, "Oklahoma’s Covid-19 cases have more than quadrupled, from approximately 1000 cases a day, to 4500 cases. Due to the dramatic increase in numbers, the Health Department is now strongly recommending 25% capacity, and 100% enforced mask covering."

According to the show's organizers, there would be no space for spectators at the event due to the fairground's formula for square feet per attendee, number of exhibitors and the square footage taken by all the tables.

The Tulsa Arms Shows, self-proclaimed as "World's Largest Gun Show," was scheduled to take place at Expo Square in the Tulsa Fairground on Nov. 14-15. Organizers said reservations and money will be automatically applied to the next show held April 10-11, 2021.
