TULSA, Okla. — We’re continuing to highlight local businesses and restaurants staying open in our series “We’re Open Green Country.” One of those is the Prairie Artisan Ales Brewpub in downtown Tulsa.

Prairie Brewpub sadly had to lay off about 90 percent of its employees. But it's still open, taking curbside and to-go orders. There’s also a 50 percent discount for healthcare workers.

Prairie Brewpub says while beer sales are steady, food sales are not. They're unsure about the future, but they're thankful for the support of the community. Also, they are happy to help out healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

"They’re in the front lines," said Dave Hall, general manager of Prairie Artisan Ales Brewpub. "So, we want to show them the love since they’re actually the ones that are taking care of us through all this pandemic and everything. So, we want to show them love and appreciation where we can.”

Prairie Brewpub is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. It does deliveries until 4:30 p.m.
