TULSA, Okla. — For those having trouble finding a job because of the coronavirus pandemic, 2 Works for You is here to help with our new initiative 'The Rebound Green Country'.

We spoke to expert Career Coach Travis Jones with Career Development Partners. Jones says, companies that are forced to reduce employees should be providing transitional resources to help those laid off move to new career opportunities.

Jones explained he works mostly with companies that believe in investing in their employees, even if they are out of the door, and especially if they hope to hire them back after having to let them go.

He says searching for jobs can be hard, but with their help, they can get you back on your feet, and almost always in a better job than before.

“In these sessions we begin to help them reset, rethink," Jones said. "What do they want to do in their career? Is this a great time for them to think about maybe stretching to a new career opportunity.”

Jones explained they help their clients understand the value of the workplace, and the importance of networking with a good resume.

He says after finishing their training, their clients typical find themselves transitioning well into a job they love and appreciate.
