Who's Hiring: Quiktrip needs help filling positions

TULSA, Okla. — If you're out of work because of the coronavirus, Quiktrip might have a job for you.

This morning in 'The Rebound Green Country', we learn what opportunities they have available right now.

They're looking for full time and part time employees.

Full time pays $11.50 and hour; part time pays $10.50.

This is the time of year Quiktrip begins to fill up their staff to prepare for the typical busy summer season.

The QT Spokesperson Mike Thornbrugh says they have incentives for attendance, customer service, and more.

“Quite frankly somebody who moves in perpetual motion. If you work in quick trip, you never stand still, it is constant constant taking care of customers, cleaning the store, merchandising the store, it never ends," Thornbrugh said.

Thornbrugh says these jobs could be great opportunities for people who are struggling right now because of COVID-19.

“Unfortunately all of us is experiencing family members, friends, neighbors who unfortunately have lost their jobs because of the virus," Thornbrugh said. "There are a lot of people looking and we hope that quick trip can be a spot that they feel comfortable with.”

These job opportunities aren't just in Tulsa, they include cities across Northeastern Oklahoma including Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Broken Arrow, Corporate Offices and more.

“We are very fortunate that we continue to grow as a company in regards to new locations, new states, looking at new businesses, so if someone really wants a long term career, we hope they give quick trip a shot,” Thornbrugh said.
