Woodland Hills Mall Reopening

and last updated

One of the many businesses opening their doors Friday, May 1, is Woodland Hills mall.

The mall is set to open at 11 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. tonight.

Simon Property Group, the mall's owner, has laid out a guideline that tenants are required to follow to keep shoppers and employees safe.

Contractors and vendors will be required to screen themselves at home before coming to work. If they have a temperature of more than 100.4 degrees, or exhibit flu-like symptoms, they must stay home.

Social distancing rules need to be followed in all stores, says Simon Property Group. Also, there will be a limited amount of entrances into the mall as well as food court seating.

All play areas, stroller and valet stations, and drinking fountains will remain closed, for now.

Restrooms will be taped off to encourage proper spacing between customers, and each night all surfaces and common areas will be disinfected thoroughly.

Not all stores in the mall will open today, a check of the Dillard's website stated they Plan to Open Tuesday, May 5.

Macy's CEO said stores in Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee, where governors are easing COVID-19 social distancing mandates, will reopen on a limited basis Monday, with hours of operation between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

We could not find anything on when JCP plans to reopen its store.
