A Tulsa boy battling a rare and potentially deadly condition is waiting for an answer.

After months of waiting, 5-year-old Allen Adams case was presented to the transplant board Thursday.

Allen needs two new kidneys and a liver to survive. Doctors diagnosed him with hyperoxaluria about a year ago.

His mother Samantha Cooper says she just wants a healthy baby boy.

"It would be like a weight lifted off of our shoulders," said Samantha Cooper, Allen's mom. "So, it's going to be pretty exciting. You never know. Something as small as yes, your son can have kidneys."

The family says they're blessed and grateful for all of the help they have received so far.
