Smart keychain uses app to find keys, phone

It's a problem as old as Henry Ford:

"Where are my car keys?"

Then there's the more recent, expensive dilemma:

"Have you seen my my cell phone?"

Motorola announced Wednesday that this national nightmare is over by unveiling the Keylink. It's a Bluetooth keychain that pairs with Apple and Android cell phones.

People who can't find their cell phone can press a button on the keychain to make the phone ring. If it's the keys that are lost, then an app on the cell phone makes the keychain ring.

If you lose both – you're hosed.

The $25 device quickly went out of stock at the Motorola online store.
