Disney's line of "Frozen" toys have pushed past Barbie to become the most desired Christmas gifts for girls this year.

The National Retail Federation's latest Holiday Top Toys Survey found one in five parents plan to buy a "Frozen" product to give as a Christmas gift this year. It is the first time in the 11-year history of the survey that Barbie did not rank as the No. 1 most sought-after merchandise.

The Top 5 toys for girls are all dolls.

For boys, LEGO toys are the most sought gift, according to the survey. The Top 5 for boys also include cars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, video games and Hot Wheels.

Forty two percent of shoppers plan to buy toys as gifts this year, the National Retail Federation said.
