Three different types of Trader Joe's applesauce are being recalled after Manzana Products Co. found a potential presence of glass pieces.
The recalls impact 24 oz. glass jars of Trader Joe's All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce, Trader Joe's Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce and Trader Joe's First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
The latter two products are sold nationally, whereas the Trader Joe's All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce is sold in 13 states.
To find out more, consumers can call Manzana at (707) 823-5313 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time on Monday through Friday. The company received reports of glass found in some of the products.
