Kid Rock announced plans to run in US Senate race

Musician Kid Rock became the latest celebrity to announce plans to run for a major public office. The artist announced on Twitter plans to run for the U.S. Senate seat in Michigan. 

But Kid Rock is far from the only celebrity to run for a major office. Several, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kanye West have floated the idea of running for office, but here is a gallery of nine celebrities Kid Rock could join in putting pen to paper and filing to run.
