Specialty brand sippy cups and essential oils pose child safety risk

TULSA, Okla. — Child’s safety is top of mind in this week’s Recall Roundup.

Specialty brand sippy cups are the latest item recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission this week.

Porter World Trade Rn Jon Surf Shop Sippy Cups could be toxic to your little one. The plastic characters on the recalled cup are said to contain levels of lead, exceeding the federal lead content ban.
Make sure the item is out of reach of children and contact the company for a refund.

Essential oil fans should check their product labels.

Rocky Mountain Oil is recalling Wintergreen Essential Oils and Oil Blends because the packaging is not child resistant and could poison young children.

If you have these, keep them away from kids and reach out to the company for a free replacement lid.

Schneider Electric is recalling Surgeloc Surge Protection devices. The device can arc, which can result in a fire hazard.

Consumers should stop using the product and contact Schneider Electric for a replacement protector.

Lastly, Bed Bath and Beyond is recalling SALT Lounge Chairs posing a fall hazard. The locking mechanism on the chair frame can come loose, causing the chair to collapse.

If you own one, return the product to any Bed Bath and Beyond location for a full refund.
