PAYNE CO., Okla. - Storm chasers captured video of a tornado near Stillwater and watched as it disappeared Monday evening.
The chasers were two miles west of Highway 177 north of Stillwater as they raced along dirt roads trying to catch up to the tornado.
With their camera positioned on the twister straight ahead, you could see it rope out and disappear into the sky. Watch the video for yourself in the player above.
Earlier Monday, a tornado touched down near Wynnewood, Oklahoma. A man believed to be in his late 70s was found dead in a home after being hit by that tornado.
