TULSA -- A south Tulsa family has been displaced after a Saturday morning house fire at their home.

Firefighters say around 1:30 Saturday morning, a fire broke out at the home near Sheridan and 111th Street.

Crews say the fire worked it's way from the patio into the home, leaving heavy smoke damage throughout the house.

All three people inside the home at the time of the fire managed to safely escape, however; one man suffered third-degree burns to his hands.

Firefighters say the family did gave working smoke detectors which alerted them to the fire.
