BROKEN ARROW - The Pride of Broken Arrow marching band will soon be able to add another accomplishment to their successful year.
After becoming Grand National Champions, the band was invited to play at the Parade of Roses for the third time in the band's history.
Sunday, the band hosted its first annual golf tournament to try to offset the $750,000 price tag.
Band director Darrin Davis said the kids have a wide range of financial situations, and he wants each kid to be able to go without too much of an inconvenience.
The group hopes to raise $300,000 so each kid can have $1,000 toward the trip.
The golf tournament was just one of the fundraisers the group will have. For more information on the group's efforts and how to donate, click here.
