OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a woman wanted in the shooting death of a Cordell man has been arrested in Oklahoma City.

The OSBI says agents arrested the 44-year-old woman Friday night at a home just north of midtown Oklahoma City and the dead man's missing vehicle was found about a block away. The woman is now being held in the Washita County jail pending the filing of formal charges.

She was wanted in the shooting death of 59-year-old Michael Beach. The OSBI says Beach's body was found in his home Monday by Cordell officers conducting a welfare check that was requested by a friend who had not heard from Beach for several days.
