OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Steven Adams took to twitter to say goodbye to Oklahoma City after being traded to New Orleans.
On Nov. 24th, the Thunder traded Adams to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Adams, who played center for OKC Thunder, started the tweet, saying, "Cheers to Oklahoma City, thanks for taking me in 7 years ago."

OKC Thunder selected Adams with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft on June 27, 2013, according to Wikipedia. Adams became the first New Zealander to be selected in the first round of an NBA draft. Adams also became the first player selected in the first round out of Pittsburgh since 1999 when the Indiana Pacers selected Vonteego Cummings.
Adams ended his goodbye to the city with "Always a pleasure, never a chore."
