TULSA, OKLA — Be mindful of slick spots with refreezing overnight into Thursday morning. Not just on roads, but on sidewalks and parking lots too. Don't want anyone to slip and fall and get hurt.
Expect a frigid start Thursday morning with lows in the teens and wind chills in the single digits, perhaps just below zero. Bundle up! Thursday will be dry and mostly sunny, but cold. Afternoon highs will struggle in the low 30s. We at least get to see some sunshine throughout the day!
As moisture is carried north with gusty south winds on Valentine's Day, clouds will likely increase with the chance of showers going up in the evening. Most of the day will be dry as temps reach the mid/upper 40s.
The chance of rain will remain into Saturday morning ahead of a cold front, with a slim chance a brief change to snow if enough cold air can push in before the precipitation moves out Saturday evening. Be ready for the temperature change on Saturday. We'll be warmer in the morning, then turn colder in the afternoon and evening behind the front.
Another chance of rain and/or snow may arrive in the middle of next week as well. Still a few days away, but we are closely monitoring.
Stay tuned as we get closer for the latest details!
